This beautiful vanity top is cast as a single seamless piece known as an integral sink. Such tops tend to be stronger and more hygienic than other options. The vanity top featured here utilizes GFRC (glass-fiber-reinforced concrete) - an evolution of traditional concrete that improves upon its deficiencies while yielding pieces that are stronger, lighter and more durable. Each finished piece displays a unique patina and subtle, natural gradients consistent with a handmade product, the result is functional art. This makes it an ideal choice to pair with our handcrafted vanities.

DETAILS

  • This top is made specifically for our 60" Modern Wood Vanity / Single Sink  (SOLD SEPARATELY)
  • Special blend glass fiber reinforced concrete with integral sink 
  • Each concrete top can be poured in order to accommodate one of three faucet types (Faucet & Drain not included): 
  • 1. No Holes: Intended for a wall mounted faucet 
  • 2. Single-Hole on Center: A single hole centered to the sink - intended for a single-hole vessel faucet with a lever
  • 3. 8" Widespread: 3 holes centered to the sink 8 inches widespread - intended for a spout and 2 lever handles
  • Four Sink Basin Shape Options (sinks do not have overflow holes): 
  • Rectangle Sink: 16" x 14" x 3.5" or 18" x 13" x 3.5 depending on cabinet size/ sink quanity
  • Round Sink: 17" x 13-5/8" x 5" 
  • Ramp Sink (no drain grid): 16" x 14" x 5"
  • Half-Trough Sink: 16" x 14" x 5.5" 
  • Installation: Not provided by What WE Make; professional installation recommended 

 

FINISH

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Caring for your new concrete surfaces are as follows: 

Always clean your concrete surface with a mild soap and water with a non-abrasive sponge or microfiber cloth. Do not use any harsh cleaners that are acidic or contain bleach.

Always Clean up spills within a timely matter, especially anything acidic or oily. Do not leave any standing liquid to dry on your concrete surface, it may etch through the sealer and cause staining. 

Concrete sealers offer excellent stain, heat and scratch resistance, however cutting, scraping, or sliding metal can scratch your coating and extremely hot items may etch through your concrete sealer. It is always recommended to use a heat pad, cutting board and felt pads on kitchen appliances that will be sitting on your concrete surface. 

After you have cleaned and dried your concrete surface, we recommend using a polish called The Original Beeswax once a week. It will help protect and maintain your new concrete surface for many years to come.
