What Our Lifetime Guarantee Covers

Our Made Right Guarantee covers defects in workmanship and manufacturing for the life of the product. If a structural issue arises due to how your piece was constructed, we will repair or replace the affected component at our discretion.

Manufacturing defects include issues related to joinery, structural integrity, or build quality — not normal wear from everyday use.

Natural Wood & What to Expect

Our furniture is built from solid hardwood and natural materials. Variations in grain, tone, knots, character markings, and texture are inherent to real wood and are not considered defects.

Seasonal movement — including natural expansion, contraction, minor checking, or subtle shifts over time — is expected in solid wood furniture and is part of its character.

What Is Not Covered

Our guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper care, extreme humidity or temperature fluctuations, water damage, harsh chemical cleaners, or structural modifications made after delivery. Alterations or refinishing performed by third parties may void coverage.

In simple terms — if something fails because of how we built it, we stand behind it. If something happens because of how it’s used, altered, or exposed to environmental extremes, it falls outside the scope of our guarantee.

Our VOC-Free Finish & Maintenance

We use a durable, VOC-free, non-toxic oil finish designed for real homes and everyday living. Unlike thick film finishes, our finish penetrates the wood and is matte, so it is easy to spot sand with our touchup kit.

If surface damage occurs, areas can be lightly spot-sanded and refreshed without refinishing the entire piece. If the finish dulls over time, a topical maintenance product such as Monocoat Renew can be applied to restore luster.

Because our finish is designed to be repairable and maintainable, we do not offer full refinishing services, but we are always happy to guide you through proper care and touch-ups.
